Slow Cooker Pork Roast

slow cooker pork roast recipe

It’s finally my favorite time of year for cooking! In my opinion, you just can’t beat cooking fall dishes. Our recipe of the month is Slow Cooker Pork Roast and it is a winner!

If you love tacos or burrito bowls, this recipe is a great way to make those dishes using your slow cooker. You simply add your pork roast, onion, spices and citrus juices to the slow cooker and let it cook for 6-8 hours on low. The pork comes out with a bright citrus flavor and it is fall-apart tender. My favorite way to eat this roast is just how it is pictured with the recipe on the website. I like to mix the pork with rice and beans and top it with fixings like avocado and raw onions to make a burrito bowl. I usually make this with a 3 pound roast even though I am typically cooking for myself. The leftovers are delicious and versatile.

Whether you’re meal-prepping for yourself or cooking for a big family, this recipe will be a cozy addition to your fall meals. Enjoy!
