30 Days of Movement with Spend Smart. Eat Smart.

Being physically active is one of the most important things people of all ages can do to improve their health. Being active has many benefits, including:

  • Improved self-esteem
  • Strong bones, muscles and joints
  • Lower risk of heart disease, colon cancer, and type 2 diabetes
  • Increased energy
  • Improved sleep
  • Enhanced flexibility and posture

I find it helpful for myself if I have a plan for how I will fit physical activity in each day. I like that I can look at the plan and know what to do, no thinking involved! I thought it would be fun to create a plan for 30 days of movement with Spend Smart. Eat Smart. The plan includes all of the physical activity videos we have on Spend Smart. Eat Smart. It includes a combination of aerobic activity to strengthen your heart and lungs, muscle-strengthening activities to build and maintain strong bones and muscles, and stretching to help improve flexibility.
