Ingredients

  • 1 žlica ulje (repica ili povrće)
  • 4 šalice Pečeni krumpir (koža na), narezan na kockice
  • 1 luk, sjeckani (oko 1 šalica)
  • 1 srednja mrkva (oguljena i nasjeckana na 1/4" komade) (oko 1/2 šalice)
  • 2 klinčića češnjak, mljeveni ili 1/2 žličice češnjaka u prahu (opcionalno)
  • 1/2 žličice sol
  • 1/4 žličice mljeveni crni papar

Instructions

  1. Zagrijte ulje u dubokoj tavi od 12" na srednjoj vatri.
  2. Dodajte krumpir, luk, mrkvu i mljeveni češnjak (ako koristite) kada je ulje vruće. Kuhajte oko 5 minuta ili dok dno ne postane zlatno smeđe boje. Okrenite ili promiješajte i nastavite kuhati nekoliko minuta.
  3. Začinite solju i paprom.

Tips

Tava koja se ne lijepi najbolje funkcionira. Manje ulja znači manje kalorija, ali hash browns neće postati tako hrskav i mogu se držati tave.
