Foods in the grains group give our body energy to help us run, jump, and play. There are two types of grains: whole grains and refined grains. Whole grains have more fiber. Fiber acts like a broom in our bodies to help us get rid of waste. This helps us have a healthy digestive system and a healthy heart. Eat whole grains like whole wheat bread, brown rice, and oatmeal.
