Ingredients
- 1 medium head cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Wash cauliflower. Remove stem and leaves. Break into florets.
- Bring 1 inch of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add cauliflower. Cover and cook until tender (10-12 minutes).
- Drain water from cauliflower. Add butter and milk to cauliflower. Mash with a potato masher or a fork.
- Stir in salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder.
