Look for peaches that are firm, have a fuzzy skin, and have a yellow tint. Avoid peaches that have a green tint.
Store at room temperature in paper bag to ripen. Store at room temperature for up to 2 days once peach is ripe.
Rinse peaches under cool running water before eating.
Cut the peach around the pit using a sharp knife. Gently twist the peach to get two halves. Remove the pit using your fingers. Add peaches to yogurt or fruit salad.
